Reviews for Tea with the Black Dragon

Magenta01/27/08 - 06:40AM17: The Raven never flittingAnonymous
My mistress' eyes are nothing like the sun is a sonnet by Shakespeare, No 130 or maybe 180 I am not sure. If you want to hear a masterly recital of it you should listen to the CD "When Love Speaks". Alan Rickman aka Prof. Severus Snape is showing you the way.

Author's Response: I love that sonnet, Rickman's voice is fantastic. When I named that chapter, I was listening to Sting's Sister Moon. I chose that particular line, not as one exclusive to itself but to remind me of the song in its entirety. Not as pretty as the sonnet, but more fitting for the chapter as a whole. And speaking of voices, have you ever heard Matthew Macfadyen read poetry? Wow! Another beautiful voice that can bring a poem to glowing life.
