Reviews for Tea with the Black Dragon

Re: my immediately previous review Hee, well, that should teach me to ask you questions FOUR YEARS LATER! *ahem* <_< I'm re-reading this. It's a salve to my wounded soul.

Author's Response: Good! I suspected after the ending of the canon, we'd see a surge of readers for fics with different endings for Snape. Welcome back!

"Name the five ways in which to deliver medication." "Decoction, tincture, ointment, capsule and compress." Just out of random curiosity, where did you come by this information? I'd like to teach an on-line seminar of sorts on writing Potions in HP fic, and obviously the herbalist angle is something that needs to be addressed, but I'd come up with infusion, decoction, extract, tincture, compress, salve/cream, poultice, pill and wash. (*cough* But only because I thought to search on "infusion decoction and tincture") >_> /me whistles innocently It's going to take me forever to prepare this lesson plan. I've got to go get a basic chemistry book tomorrow. *sigh*

Author's Response: Uh, boy. It's been so long since I researched for that fic, it's hard to remember. I believe I got that information from a site on the net about medieval medicine. But for the life of me, I can't remember what is was called. Sorry!

I heard about your fic on snapecast. I'm enjoying it very much so far because you've made Grace a very unique character (her unusual background) and you've kept Snape canon, with the exception that this doesn't follow HBP - but if you followed that, then you wouldn't have this story obviously. This line really made me LOL: "And he knew its other uses as well." I love how you just casually threw that in there.

Author's Response: Thanks for stopping by and reading! I'm glad you like Grace. She was a great deal of fun to work with. I'm very fond of her. As for Snape - his characterization runs the gamut in fanfiction, doesn't it? I worked to keep him as consistent to canon as I perceived canon, although this story went waaayyy AU after OotP. Glad you enjoyed that line. : )
