I'm a definite Snape fan, and I think you did complete justice to a very difficult character. So often, people end up writing Snape completely OOC, which I find disappointing. Your characterization was spot on. I'm always wary about reading fics with an original character, but Grace was wonderful. In fact, I rather prefer her to Hermione Granger (yes, I'm an HG/SS 'shipper)! I'm sorry for the loss of your friend, but please know that you created a beautiful homage to her.
