Aww, this really was sweet. But being the fluff bunny that I am, i adored it. Thank you for leaving it up on the net. :)

Author's Response: I'm a fluff bunny too. I'm glad you enjoyed it! Thank you for reading and reviewing. --Meli

This may be the most romantic HG/SS I've ever read, actually. The tiny detail of him being so flustered he had to re-do his buttons [what a task that must have been, if your Snape is anything like movie!Snape] is so adorable and tells us more about their relationship than any long-winded, flowery speech. I loved this story! Thank you for sharing it with us.

Author's Response: Awww, thank you. I'm so pleased the little things are what caught your eye. Those are the things that, for me, make the story work best to show and not tell quite so much (like those long-winded speeches). --Meli

*blinks back moisture* This story has great rising tension and absolutely lovely resolution.

Author's Response: Aw, thank you! It was one of those quickies I wrote to experiment with aspects of craft, and it seems to have worked out well. Much appreciated, Writermerrin! --Meli

You were right is sickeningly sweet and yet I loved it all the same. A petulant Snape is always entertaining. Well done!

Author's Response: :-D

This one made me teary eyed. How absolutely beautiful! So easily could he have been beyond angry and taken it out on her. Instead, he realized just what he needed to do...*sigh* Just beautiful! :)

Author's Response: Awww, thank you, Jade2099. What a sweet review. --Meli

It's the little things that are so cool about your writing. The Happiness Draught that make the wood grain on the table smile, for example. And Good Old Red Eyes. I've never heard a Slytherin described (especially SELF-described) as a sheep, but it truly fits him and his mood here. And the last three paragraphs brought tears to my eyes, and truly did make everything all better.

Author's Response: For me the delight is in those details; the rest of the story is just ordinary, but I hope the little things make it special. That's the thing I love about Rowling's little magics, their goofyness, their strange but perfect logic. I'm happy to have made you sniffle, too. Thanks for telling me!! :-) *hands tissue* --Meli

Oh, very nice! I really needed this pick-me-up today, so I'm glad I followed Keladry-Lupin's rec and came here to read this. Lovely.

Author's Response: Awww, happy to have made you feel a little better. Thanks, Mugglegirl! --Meli

Merlin's. Hairy. Left. Nostril. That is, hands-down, the best oath I've ever read in any Potterverse fic. I like the parallelism in this fic, how he kept doing things because he knew they'd piss her off, and then at the end, how he did it for a completely different reason. Lovely, as always.

Author's Response: The parallelism was the whole point of this little story. It was a fun exercise. As for the oath, I have always enjoyed coming up with new "Merlin's..." -- a trick I used a lot in another story (The Highwayman) to lighten the mood. Thank you for the rec on your journal, BTW! Glad you enjoyed seeing this ficlet. --Meli

Author's Response: I do hope you didn't get a cavity! Thank you! --Meli
